Kale ChipsOK, so how many of you need a new snack to spice things up! This is amazing and BONUS it doesn’t cost $6.00 like they try to charge you for in the grocery store. PLUS there is way less sodium and its fresher! OK OK so you are wondering, “Well what is it!?” KALE CHIPS! OK but not just any KALE CHIPS. The BEST! This magical superfood shrivels down so much when you cook it that you could eat an entire bunch for a snack….or TWO.. I won’t judge.

So whats the deal with KALE? Whats the hype!? KALE has the big three. It has anti-inflammatory properties, anti-cancerous properties AND antioxidant properties. In addition to that it also acts as a natural detoxification system to our body!

There are so many health benefits that you get from just one cup of kale. Kale provides our bodies with protein, omega-3’s, folate, fiber, iron, magnesium, calcium, copper, manganese, potassium, phosphorus, and Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C, E, and, K!! INSANE! You could pretty much live off of this stuff!

So moral of the story eat as much of these bad boys as you can because they are amazing for your body BUT they are also DELICIOUS!!

Herbes de Kale Chips:

Yield: 1 cup
Preparation and cooking time: 25-30 minutes


  • 1 bunch of curly kale
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Oil
  • 1 pinch of Himilyian salt
  • 1 pinch of coarse black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3/4 teaspoons herbes de provence


  • Preheat your oven to 395
  • Stem your kale
  • Thinly chop kale
  • Place on a baking sheet and add all of the other ingredients
  • Place in preheated oven and pull out your kale after ten minutes and every five minutes after that to mix
  • Bake 20-25 minutes, until crispy.

*Enjoy alone or on top of salads, pastas, burritos, the list is endless!
